Last month the 2009 Sprint Phone Roadmap was leaked online. These screenshots are from a presentation showing when Sprint would release their new phones. On the list of upcoming Sprint phones is the Palm Pre (codenamed Palm P100) and shows a potential release date of the second quarter of 2009.
On the Palm Pre description slide (shown below) it lists the launch date as TBD Q2′09, which goes in line with Palm stating it will be out in the first half of the year. Please note that these may be production [...]
The Palm Treo Pro was first released by Palm in October 2008 and was only available as an unlocked model. The unlocked Treo Pro was great for world travelers who wanted an international smartphone that will work with any sim card. The negative of the Palm Treo Pro was that it was expensive because you were not buying it from a wireless carrier with service.
In March 2009 Sprint released the Palm Treo Pro and it’s only $199 with a contract. The Treo Pro is also available with Alltel.
